OX Agent gives plain-language guidance and clear next steps. It does not make approvals, give investment advice, or move money.

APPROVED OX TOPICS

Every answer has a home.

These topics are the operating reference for OX Agent. They are reviewed as OX rules, workflows, and partner arrangements mature.
01

Youth-led enterprise enrollment

Yes. A youth-led or youth-owned business or organization can begin the OX Company sign-up process when a parent, legal guardian, or authorized adult representative completes the account with them. The adult is the responsible account administrator for the application, required consent, records, and communications. OX can identify the record as youth-led or youth-owned and apply the $199 verified youth-led/owned organization onboarding tier after review.

Choose the youth-led or youth-owned designation in the Company sign-up flow and have the parent or guardian complete the account-administrator information.
02

Youth startup pathway

A youth-led startup may enter the OX review pathway with its authorized adult representative. Under the current OX model, a startup must operate for one year before it can participate in exchange investing. If OX approves the startup pathway, it may be eligible for pre-seed donations or support up to $1,000 while it develops its operating record. Donations do not create ownership or a promised return.

Use the Company File to identify the startup and youth status, then submit the parent or guardian contact and operating plan for review.
03

Company referral requirement

A business or organization seeking capital or donations through OX must select an approved active OX Broker or Agent as its referral at sign-up. The referral creates accountable relationship history and gives OX a real person to follow up with. Only active Brokers and Agents appear in the referral dropdown.

Ask your OX Broker or Agent for their approved referral identity before opening the Company File.
04

Broker and Agent enrollment

An OX Broker applies for approval and has a $199 enrollment fee after approval, plus a $9.99 monthly OX network licensing fee. An OX Agent applies under an approved Broker sponsor and has a $49.99 enrollment fee, plus the same $9.99 monthly licensing fee. These are internal OX network roles; they do not authorize someone to sell ownership units or handle investor funds.

Use the OX Network enrollment area and, for an Agent, select an approved Broker sponsor.
05

Investor enrollment and review

Individuals, families, trusts, and investment groups can open an Investor account. The account captures identity and participation preferences, then OX can apply the appropriate verification and onboarding steps before enabling any future regulated activity. The current prototype lets members build profiles, preferences, and watchlists; it does not accept investment funds.

Open an Investor account, complete the profile, and set market preferences.
06

Discovery filters

OX Market discovery can be filtered by location—from area code, city, and state to broader region—plus industry and community designations. Approved profiles may identify youth-owned, women-owned, men-owned, veteran-owned, senior-owned, tribal or nation affiliated, nonprofit, and other approved community characteristics. These designations help people discover enterprises; OX should never use them as a reason to impose a higher hurdle.

Use the OX Market filters to narrow the approved enterprise profiles you want to explore.
07

Governing records and references

The Company File may require governing documents such as articles of incorporation or formation, the EIN in vault-only records, company address and phone, the account administrator, operating history, testimonials from three to five customers, one to two personal references, and other evidence needed for practical verification. OX is designed to reduce unnecessary red tape while still documenting a trustworthy record.

Keep sensitive identifiers in the vault-only fields and use the Company File checklist to see what is still needed.
08

Resource partners

OX can list vetted resource partners such as grant sources, investment groups, families, trusts, and outside lenders. They are reviewed separately before being presented as an OX resource. A resource profile is not an OX guarantee, endorsement of terms, or investment recommendation.

Use the Resource Partner pathway to submit organization identity, contact information, terms, and verification materials for OX review.
09

OX Admin review

OX Admin has a review workspace for investor, issuer, Broker, Agent, and nation registry activity. Admin can inspect submitted records, request corrections, record review notes, change controlled statuses, issue conditional approvals, set deadlines, and keep a decision trail. Administrative power does not replace the required legal, compliance, custody, or partner process for real capital activity.

Use the OX Admin dashboard’s activity queue and open the relevant record for documented review.
10

OX Market

OX Market is a private community marketplace being built for reviewed enterprises, investors, resource partners, tribes and nations, and trusted network members. OX is being designed to support future participation in properly documented ownership units, but it is not yet accepting investment funds or executing unit transactions. Until the regulated partner path is active, OX accepts applications, readiness records, and its disclosed onboarding service fees—not money for ownership units.

Explore OX Market or review the Knowledge Center before applying.
11

Prototype and regulated partners

The current OX site is a working platform prototype and workflow blueprint. Before real unit purchases, deposits, custody, or withdrawals can happen, OX must operate through the appropriate regulated broker-dealer or funding-portal, custody or escrow, banking, identity-verification, and payment-partner arrangements. A payment processor alone does not provide regulated investment infrastructure.

OX Admin must confirm the approved partner path before money is accepted.
12

Ownership units

OX uses ownership units as the platform-wide term. The final legal documents decide the actual instrument: a corporation may issue shares, while an LLC, cooperative, or similar issuer may use membership units. A unit is not cash, and its rights, valuation method, transfer rules, and possible distributions must be disclosed before participation.

Read the issuer’s approved market structure and final documents.
13

Investor accounts

An Investor account sets market preferences, follows enterprises, keeps a watchlist, and shows a consolidated activity ledger, notices, confirmations, and receipts. OX is building toward properly documented ownership-unit participation; the current account is for onboarding and market discovery only, not for sending investment funds. When live, the ledger will separate donations, committed cash, ownership units, available cash, and declared distributions rather than combining them into one number.

Complete the Investor profile, then set location, industry, and community preferences.
14

Withdrawals and liquidity

A unit holder cannot assume they can withdraw the purchase amount whenever they choose. A withdrawal request could apply only to available cash, a declared distribution, an approved redemption, or an authorized secondary transfer under final terms. Ownership units may have transfer restrictions and limited liquidity.

Review the issuer’s final terms; OX Admin cannot create liquidity by itself.
15

Distributions and dividends

OX can display an issuer’s declared distribution policy, but it cannot promise a return. Final documents must state whether distributions are possible, how they are calculated, who authorizes them, and the payment dates. A May and November schedule can be used only where an approved issuer has lawfully declared a distribution and has sufficient available cash.

Treat a distribution as available only after the authorized decision and partner settlement are recorded.
16

Listing an enterprise

To list an enterprise, the registrant completes a Company File: legal and operating name, account administrator, governing records, location, ownership, referral, operating history, use of funds, references, financial-verification path, and proposed market structure. OX may request corrections, conditionally approve a file, or decline it after review.

Begin or continue the Company File and save the record before submitting it for OX review.
17

Issuer onboarding fee

The OX Issuer Onboarding Service Fee is for the review and Company File process—not ownership units. Current prototype tiers are $499 for standard for-profit issuers, $299 for verified nonprofit or tax-exempt community organizations, and $199 for verified youth-led or youth-owned organizations with an adult representative. OX confirms eligibility and discounts do not stack.

Use the Company File to identify organization type and let OX confirm the tier.
18

Financial verification

OX uses a lighter, documented review path for small and midsize enterprises. Issuers operating two years or less may self-attest to required financial information while OX requests follow-up records. Tax-exempt organizations can use three months of bank statements and supporting organizational records instead of tax returns. OX review must confirm authenticity before final market approval.

Use the secure Company File upload or approved bank-link workflow when it becomes available; do not email sensitive documents.
19

Conditional approval

Conditional approval lets OX advance a trusted record with named requirements and a documented deadline—often up to 60 days—without treating the issuer as fully cleared for capital activity. OX Admin can record a condition, due date, reviewer note, and final outcome. Until conditions are satisfied, funds should remain unaccepted or held only with the proper regulated custody or escrow partner, not in OX’s operating account.

Review the Company File decision trail and complete each named condition before the deadline.
20

Use of funds

An issuer states one primary use of funds and may select additional uses—equipment, inventory, payroll, working capital, marketing, facility improvements, licensing, expansion, training, or community programs. The final offering should link proceeds to that plan. In a controlled-release model, an issuer submits a purpose-based draw request with supporting documentation before funds are released.

Complete use-of-funds details with amounts, timing, and clear operational information.
21

Symbols and tickers

An OX symbol is a unique platform identifier for an approved issuer record. An enterprise may propose a symbol, but OX checks it against the existing registry and reserves it only after duplicate review and approval. A symbol is not a public listing, valuation, or invitation to invest.

Propose a short, unique symbol in the Market Structure workspace after the business record is ready.
22

Brokers and Agents

OX Brokers and Agents are internal network roles in this prototype. Brokers can sponsor Agents; Agents record accountable referrals and use approved educational materials. They may not promise returns, give personal investment advice, handle investor funds, or sell units outside the final authorized partner structure. OX uses terms such as OX Network Referral Fee, Issuer Onboarding Service Fee, and Approved Account Service Credit—not a commission on unit sales.

Use the Agent/Broker workspace to record referrals, complete training, and escalate account-specific questions.
23

Tribal and nation registry

A tribe or nation can request inclusion in the OX registry through an authorized representative. The record includes the official name, territory or location, representative, contact information, and public website. Only Approved records appear in the affiliation dropdown, with OX retaining a review and status-change trail.

Submit a nation registry request or ask OX Admin to open an existing registry record for correction.
24

Privacy and records

Sensitive issuer records—such as EINs, bank statements, tax information, governing documents, and private references—belong in controlled Company File or vault access, not on a public profile. Investors should see only an approved investor-facing summary, disclosures, leadership and reference information, and materials the issuer is authorized to share.

Use the designated secure record area for sensitive materials and keep public profile content separate.
25

Safety boundaries

OX Agent can explain approved platform rules, but it cannot approve or deny an account, interpret law for a specific person, guarantee an investment, assess fraud, or direct a payment. Those actions require the documented OX review process and, where applicable, qualified legal, compliance, broker-dealer, funding-portal, custody, or banking partners.

Escalate record-specific, legal, fraud, or payment questions to OX Admin.
